If the rates are Per person per night sharing, does that mean if the rate is 35 Euros - that it's 70 euros a night for 1 room for 2 people? Maybe a dumb question but I needed to ask!!

In my experience, B&Bs in the UK generally post a per person rate. It may be the same in Ireland.

Yes. "Per Person" for two people means you take the quoted rate and double it. Usually for resort properties that include meals or for tours.

per person means . . . <u>per</u> person. Some B&Bs charge per person and some charge per room. Whichever it is should be clearly stated on the website/brochure.

Ireland isn't in the UK but other information above is accurate.. Some places charge per room (usually Hotels) but the normal is per person per night sharing. €35 each is about the norm for a decent B&B/Guest House. If a single traveller expect to pay about €45 for a single room (which might actually be a double)
