Weather in July in Switzerland

I will be going to Lautenbern (I don't think that is the correct spelling) for two days in June on a tour. I'd really like to go up the Swiss Alps and am wondering if they will be snow covered? Will it be really cold up there? Approximate temperature? Does anyone recommend any clothing for this time of year in Switzerland?

JDT: This has been a big topic of discussion recently. Just do a search or scroll down through the Switzerland posts and you will find lots of info on weather in the mountains.

Assuming this is a serious question, it will be pleasant weather, fairly dry, temperature highs in the 70's (maybe low 80's) in the Lauterbrunnen valley; but up in the Alps there will be lots of snow. Take warm clothes and some good warm shoes if you intend to walk around in the snow.

Mark - this is a serious question. Thank you for your suggestions. I heard from our tour that it was really cold, but friends tell me that it's really hot. I am just a little confused, but appreciate your thoughts.
