We buy a fan to mask the noise in European Hotels

tcreath, the other nice thing about a fan is having some air circulation. Some of my favorite hotels in Europe have had rather small rooms that can feel stuffy after a while (especially with windows closed or heating on.) A little air movement can be a great thing.

I guess we stay in quiet hotels Like travelnut, we have never been disturbed by noise. In fact, we've sometimes wondered if we were the only ones staying in the hotel until morning when others were checking out.

A lot of noises distant traveler..the more noise the better I sleep.

You do have a lot of problems when you travel don't you?
