Villa Brunella in Capri
Has anyone stayed in a standard room here. I am planning in staying on Capri for 2 night's after spending our first 5 nights at Santa Caterina. They have available a standard room with a view of the sea " through the trees". Is it worth it or should I consider another property. Hotel Mamela has a sea view double available. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks

I've only stayed in the deluxe sea view rooms at the Villa Brunella and while it is a great hotel, Capri is all about the view. So I would go with a comparable hotel with a view if that was available. But be sure to have dinner at the Villa Brunella; its restaurant is outstanding.

Faisat, I will be staying at he hotel Mamela, in late Sept. when will you be on Capri, I will write a report when I return the first week in Oct.
I have stayes at the Mamela before the sea view rooms are very nice, large newly remodled, as is the hotel it's self. The location is ideal just below the hotel la MInerva.
Best of luck

We were in Capri and stayed at La Minerva, the rooms are incredible, we stayed in a deluxe room. The cleanest brightest room you can imagine. beautiful views. Highly reccommend. Definitly eat dinner at Villa Brunella it is very romantic and excellent food.
