I went to the Liechtenstein Museum shortly after it opened about four years ago. Well worth a few hours for the collection, the building and the grounds. www.liechtensteinmuseum. at Furstengasse 1, 1090 Vienna. Good info on the web site.
gradyghost has some good restaurant suggestions. I would add zum weissen Rauchfangkehrer (White Chimney Sweep) which I've recommended before for immaculate Austrian country interior, excellent service and food. Very near St. Stephen's at Weihburggasse 4

We spent 3 wonderful days in Vienna last week.
We stayed at the LEVANTE PARLIAMENT which is right in the city center. The rooms are rather small but a good bet.
The second goog affordable bet is the Westin.
We went to tzhe Belvedere, the Moma, walked the Opern Ring absorbing the city's flair. Had coffee in some of the Kaffeehaus'es, drank wonderful wine in some of the wine bars and had great vegetarian meals at Vegetasia.
We just like to walk a city instead of using the tube or taxi.
And we went to a concert of http://www.theessink.com/de/ where he and Inzingisi (3 guys from Zimbibwe) were performing during the "Afrika Tage".
We had a fantastic time - also the weather was cooperating
Enjoy your days in Vienna!

oops - for the (as friends insist) best Wiener Schnitzel go to the restaurant VESTIBUEL!
And don't forget to walk over the Naschmarkt (market selling grocery, herbs, spices where you can have also a meal and some of the best/fresh fish in town)

I found the Kaisergruft or Imperial Crypt to be quite interesting when I use to live in Vienna.
