Hello - my husband leaves this a.m. for Europe and I am meeting him in Paris in a few days where we will carry on to Avignon. Anyone know of a good meeting spot in the TGV terminal station? We're assuming the station is fairly large - many thanks!!

Its not too large a station but you could try in front of the sheraton hotel - which is on the level above before you go down the escalators to the actual station. Have a lovely trip.

The station is not very large at all. There's an information booth right as you enter - one of those round/octagonal structures - that would make an easy and convenient place to meet.

Previous posters are correct. The actual TGV terminal is not large at all. If you take the stairs/escalator near the sign for the Sheraton down one level, you will be right there. One quick glance , and you would be bound to find each other.

Also, there is a spot to get great take-away deli-sandwiches for your ride on the train.

Looks like meeting shouldn't be too much of a challenge - appreciate the deli tip!!

Please note there are two entrances for the Sheraton on two different levels above the train station.
One is the regular entrance to the hotel lobby, the other one is the entrance to the Sheraton Business Center.
