CDG - How do I get to TGV Station from Terminal 2A

My plane is expected to land at 9:40am and my TGV is at 11:40. Do you think I will have enough time to catch the train? I am planning on not to have any luggage so I don't have to wait for it. How exactly do I get to TGV from Terminal 2A? What sign do I look for? Thank you everyone.

It will take roughly 10 minutes from the moment you leave the customs area.

When you exit into the terminal, turn right toward terminal 2C, go across it and you arrive in the train station. I do not remember exactly the signs, but you should follow TGV or train station (or something like this). It is also possible to follow the signs "Paris by train" as the RER station is in the same area as the train station

Follow the large yellow signs that say SNCF. The station is between Halls C and D. You'll have PLENTY of time to get there.

Couple of years ago I landed at T2A, and walked to the TGV station to catch a train to Lyon. I only had carry-on luggage so did not need to go to the carrousel. It took me 10-15 minutes. There are some stores on the way to pick up misdcellaous items.

Hey,

It's been a couple of years since I've been to France.

I've looked at the CDG map and can see that the AA flights usually (when all goes smoothly) land in 2A.

I don't remember how I got to Gare/TGV last time. I only remember that we took the longest way around in a circle and finally made it to the TGV.

Do I have to get to 2C, then to 2E before I can access the Gare/TGV? Also, the maps mention several levels. I assume that not all levels get to Gare/TGV?

Thanks for all the help!!!

You only have to walk through 2A and 2C. 2E is on the other side of the TGV station.

The tracks are below the terminal, so you go down to get to them, by following the signs.

I took a TGV train from CDG TGV station last January and found that the actual platform your TGV will come in has two distinct halves that are hard to walk between without making a big detour - so make sure you are waiting in the right part of the long platform to be ready when the TGV train comes in - there is good info to indicate where you train car will stop so peruse the overhead monnikers and at least be in the right part of the platform

My grandaughter and I walked to the TGV station..it was a nice walk..We arrived and had to wait for our TGV to Avignon.

Once you arrive at the station, as Pal..said, be careful and make certain that you are at the right platform.

make sure you are waiting in the right part of the long platform to be ready when the TGV train comes in

That is a very clever piece of advice, PalenQ. It is really annoying when I am waiting in the wrong place and the train does not come to get me anyway.
