CDG: Terminal 2A to TGV?
In preparation for our adventure in Provence this next week, I'm interested in navigating CDG upon arrival. Our American Airlines flight is due to arrive at 9:40am at (according to the AAdvantage desk) Terminal 2A.
We have purchased tickets (and printed off) on the TGV at the airport Gare departing at 11:49. (Our plane arrival has been changed from 9:10am to 9:40am.) I have studied the maps on the internet of CDG. I have read the trip reports of taking the shuttle bus between terminals. We don't mind walking between Terminal 2A and the TGV if practical. Could someone provide more specific information about this connection? Is it feasible to walk between the two? Should we avoid the shuttle bus? Try the shuttle bus? We are not planning on checking luggage - carryon only. Thanks, in advance, for assistance...

We've walked it many times. When you walk out of the luggage/customs hall into the public area, turn right and keep walking. Look for overhead signs for the station.
Keep walking until the signs direct you down some escalators towards the station. It's not really very far.

The CDGVAL only goes among the T1, T1/T3 RER, T2 RER/TGV and I believe a satellite parking lot.
There's no train that goes among the T2 ABCDEF.
It's a short walk from 2A to the TGV station. Unless you have mobility problem, walking is definitely the easiest and fastest.

Agree completely with Anselm and rkk - very easy to walk and will take you less than 15 mins. I did the same last April and had plenty of time before the train - in fact too much time because flight was early, we were off plane very quickly and bags appeared in no time. So spent a couple of hours reading and waiting above the platform at the station.
