Two very hot days in Seville
The weather in Seville is now 39 degrees and daunting. We have been to the Alhambra in Garanda and loved it. So not sure we will do Alacazar as well given our limited time. Any suggestions re interesting places to see with shelter from the heat? We will definitly go to the Cathedral.

Was in Seville June 9 & 10. It is hot but many of the buildings and streets seemed designed to make it bearable. The Alcazar was pleasant even on our afternoon visit. Garden section hot but in shade even garden was bearable. Cathedral was fine. Thought the Mezquita in Cordoba was very warm and stuffy, perhaps because of the lower ceiling than cathedrals.

Well, I wouldn't head north to Madrid. It won't exactly be snowing when the temperature tops 39ºC on Friday. It will be even warmer in Córdoba later in the week.

I've played soccer in Seville in 42oC.
Try Savannah in 28oC with the huge humidity coming from the marshes : unbearable.
I'd agree with the idea of a river cruise.
The area around the Plaza de Espana is very well wooded and usually cooler but I also agree with the idea of a river cruise.
