Trying to choose lodging in Bruges
I know that Absoluut Verhulst has gotten rave reviews here, and it does look nice and they do have availability for the time we will be visiting the city. I also saw an apt and b & b run by a couple, Koen and Annemie Dieltiens that doesn't seem to have a name and their apt looks good and is somewhat less expensive. Is anyone familiar with their place and the location?

I am not familiar with Annemie. I have stayed in -- and loved -- both Drie Koningen and Ridderspoor. Both are a 2 minute walk from the Markt and very cozy/beautiful inside...and very reasonably priced.
Here is a list of other holiday flats for rent in Brugge (if you haven't seen them yet):

I don't know if you are open to other possibilities, but the Hotel Adornes was charming, had an excellent breakfast, well located, reasonably priced AND one of the best front desk staffers, Natalie, with whom I have had the pleasure of dealing.

I'll check it out, but my daughter and her husband haven't been married all that long and I'd like them to have some privacy without having to rent two rooms. The b & b's seem to be more cost effective. Thanks for your input.
