Triple room in Nice?

my 2 friends and I will be spending one night in Nice and flying out to London the next day.
Can anyone suggest a hotel that they have enjoyed. A triple room would be ideal but open to suggestions. Budget about 150 euro...

try the novotel arénas, quite close to the airport. if you want to be closer to old nice, look at the mercure promenade des anglais.

at the novotel you would want one of the rooms with one large bed and a day bed (not a rollaway) in addition. They're designed for 3 people and are reasonably large except for the bathroom (the toilet is in a separate room, however).

How is the Mercure Promenade des Anglais? It is in the area we would like to stay.

it's a 3-star and a member of the accor chain, which inludes the novotels and the sofitels. all are respectable properties, with good standards of cleanliness and comfort but perhaps not strong on charm.

posted too fast! i didn't mean that the sofitels were short on charm, but they're the up-market, pricey part of the group.

the mercure p/d/a is in a fine location, just 2 blocks from vieux nice and right across the boulevard from the mediterranean.

We stayed in a triple at Hotel Windsor. Not sure what the rates are now, but you can check it out at www.windsor.fr. It was a nice, clean hotel that was walking distance to the beach and railroad station and old town. Very helpful staff and lovely garden and exercise room and sauna on top floor (nice views). Just don't order the breakfast--it's high.
