Trenitalia seating chart

Anyone know where you can access the seating configurations for Trenitalia trains?

Sorry, I don't off the bat, but when you have selected a train to take, and must get reservations for, it will show you seating arrangements for you to choose from.

A few years old, but still valid:

As I recall the OP has had a great deal of difficulty using the Trenitalia website.

Plus, it's not like you can choose specific seats anyways. The charts are just for curiosity.

I just booked my tickets a few days ago, and it just gave me a choice of window or aisle seat. Then it assigns you a seat.

Hi Sa,

Trenitalia no longer allows you to choose your seats.

You can only ask for window or aisle.

They never let you choose your seats anyways. They let you enter which seat and car you WANT to next CLOSE to. But it seems like there's a huge percentage of people thinking that's for entering the seat number to SIT IN.

Just wondering... if you book for two and choose window, do they give you two window seats possibly facing eachother or one window and one aisle?

Hi rk,

Not too long ago, tren gave you a picture of the seating arrangement and let you choose - 2 window, window aisle, aisle aisle, etc.

Now you can only ask for window or aisle, which makes it difficult if there are 2 of you and you wish to sit side by side.

I know. My point was that there is no reason to know the actual configuration of the cars, since you were never allowed to get specific seat (i.e. seat 53, 54, etc). That has not changed.
