trenitalia-please help now!!!!!

Please, I need your help!!! I tried 4 times tonight to purchase our tickets, in an attempt to secure a special rate, on the ever imfamous, and unreliable, trenitalia website. Each time, it denied the charge, although I was careful to call my c/c company in advance. THEN on my online c/c account info, it shows all 4 charges pending!!! I called my c/c company, who said I would have to wait to see if charges went through! Meanwhile, I have no email confirmation, online acknowledgement, nothing! except 4 pending charges!!!HELP PLEASE!!!!

You might want to check you "spam" folder to see if the emails have been filtered into there. That happened to me the first time I tried to purchase tickets from Trenitalia.

Hi D,

Good advice from Sue, especially if you have AOL.

If it turns out that you did purchase 4 sets of tickets, you can cancel and get a refund. See FAQs at www.trenitalia.com

In the FAQ there's a email address [email protected] and also a telephone number. Try one of these.

thanks for all of your advise. I am going to try these avenues and see what happens, hopefully the temp charges wont go through on my c/c,
I figure it would probably be best to
purchase the tickets when I get to Italy.
