travel itin help needed

We are traveling from paris for 6 nights to venice for 2 nights to salzburg for 2 days then to the berner oberland for 4 days then geneva for 2 days. Is this a good plan? ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated and needing advice on best transportation options. Thanks in advance to all the travel savvy!

Do you have your own private jet?
The travel time is too much unless you fly. I see 3 world class destinations here---Paris, Venice, Berner Oberland. I would spend my time there and skip the other 2.

how are you getting from place to place? You're covering a lot of ground.

That is way too much traveling in too short a time, in my opinion. Whether rental car, bus, train, or plane, it still takes at least 1/2 day to move from place to place. I would skip Salzburg and Geneva both and add the days back into the other destinations.

Hi urmiek,

I agree with the others. You can see for yourself at the Swiss rail website, www.rail.ch.

One option might be to fly from Venice to Geneva, then meander up to the Berner Oberland.

Still too many destinations, I think.
