Hmmm ! May not be easy--that is a good distance. I suspect a flight from Split via Zagreb to Athens may be the best option. The Adriatic ferries do not run that way.

Do you really want to spend that much time on a ferry? The ferry from Split to Ancona is 9 hrs and then another 8 or 9 hrs Ancona to Patras. Once you're in Patras you'll have to drive/take public transporation to Athens (approx. 2 - 2 1/2 hrs) and then take another ferry to Paros. You'll lose a lot of time this route! I agree with bobthenavigator that you should look at flights. I bet it's a lot cheaper than all those ferries too.

I was way off on the Ancona - Patra ferry time. It's more like 22 hours!

I've traveled often from split to ancona with www.blueline-ferries.com and it does take 9 hours, but its not bad and you sleep most of the time so it passes by fast. I've never travel to Greece though but I heard the www.superfast.com has excellent ferries.
