I assume you mean Dubrovnik - I don't think "Dubrovinik" exists.
You don't say what you mean by "best" but I'd probably get a train or bus to Patra, a ferry to Bari then another ferry to Dubrovnik. Nobody knows what ferry services will be running in June 2008 and the best route will also depend on what day you need to travel.

They are both long over night ferries. If you can find another way...like flying...I would do that.

Thank you all for the responses (even with my spelling/typo/whatever mistake...). Since I will be in Greece, I was trying to avoid going back to Italy (Bari). I did that before (Bari-Patra) and it was a very long trip. I will try flights from Athens. I will probably have to fly from Athens somewhere and then to Dubrovnik (got it!). I don't think there are any direct flights from Athens to Croatia.

The best timewise, may be Athens--Split but i would love to go to Venice for a good price and make my way from there, if i had the time.
