transfer from CDG airport

When I go to Paris my MO is to take the Air France shuttle bus from CDG to the Montparnasse train station and cab it the rest of the way to my hotel (I am usually coming or going from Brittany when I am in Paris). I have also taken the RER from CDG to St Michel.
I am not sure which bus you would take to get to an area near your hotel. Perhaps Robespierre can be of more help.
I THINK you can take the Roissey bus from CDG to the opera quarter & cab it from there.

The Best & cheapest route is to take
the Roissy bus (you can pay on bus;
believe it was 8.50e) to its stop on Rue Scribe, turn corner onto Haussman & Walk the few blocks (no need for cab) to the hotel. I had no problem doing that this past April.
