Train travel from Seville to Granada and Granada to Madrid

Any advice on finding direct trains from Seville to Granada. We are traveling early October and see nothing direct. The trains from Granada to Madrid seem to be either at 6 AM or late afternoon also.

I’ve searched but can’t find anything. Anyone know otherwise? Thanks much.

There are a number of direct trains on these routes, please read this in detail - very helpful
https://www.seat61.com/train-travel-in-spain.htm

You can look up timetables on a 3rd party site, rome2rio or trainline etc but buy directly from the rail operator Renfe.

Thank you. I have checked everything that is available but nothing direct Seville to Granada. From the link you sent it looks like Renfe may not have released those yet and often don’t release them until closer to departure. I’m hoping that’s the case. We are looking for Seville to Granada on October 5th and Granada to Madrid on October 8th. In the first instance we only see trains with a change and in the second instance very early morning or late afternoon. Hopefully more will be available closer to the time. Appreciate the input.

All trains go through Córdoba

There is no direct train from Seville to Granada. All trains go through Córdoba. You might want to opt for a coach/bus.

Thank you. Do you know the name of the bus company by chance?

Exactly, there aren't any. You are looking awfully early, but that won't change that fact. For Granada to madrid, it's a different train that runs about 11 am, not an AVE, so look more like 3 months out or closer.

For future reference: You could have found this information on rome2rio.

Hi !
Renfe releases its tickets between 60 and 90 days in advance. There are direct trains between Seville and Granada, and the journey takes about 2 hours and 40 minutes (based on a trip in July).

For an October reservation, please check back later on the Seville–Granada train booking page.
Best regards.
