luggage storage in Edinburg.
does anyone have any safe and reasonable suggestions for luggage storage in Edinburgh ?
I plan to store my luggage in Edinburgh, while i go to Dublin for 5 days. looking for something safe and reasonable. it will be one carry-on size suitcase that i plan to store.
Doesn't have to be at the airport (looks like airport has a facility but it is 12.50 pounds/day) as i will have a car. So as long as it is within 5-6 miles radius of the airport i will be okay.
Thank you so much in advance.
p.s. thoroughly grateful for this forum and the inputs of those who are taking time to respond - it is helping me create a safe itinerary.

Ditto what janisj said.
I must admit that I find your repeated misspelling of Edinburgh off-putting.
And maybe, if you spelled it correctly, a google search of "Edinbrugh luggage storage" would provide an answer your question.

Maybe the education over spelling will stick once OP hears how the locals pronounce the city's name. Which... for most ears is not pronounced how it's "spelled."
Sorry we're harping on this, but spelling matters as travelers for addresses, GPS, trains (if applicable), etc.
As far as luggage, really would suggest looking into smaller luggage rather than storage. With such a short trip, you'd find that most of what you bring should fit in a standard carry-on. If I can fit ice skates, theatrical make-up, costumes, and regular clothes in a carry-on, you can fit 10-days worth of clothes and toiletries in one too.

I've only left luggage at the bus depot/station. They have lockers for different sizes, and you pay for the locker at the locker which is where the buses leave. I didn't have any issues and didn't need to ask for help. There is also a left luggage place at the Waverly train station, but I haven't used it.
I hope this information is helpful.

Might be helpful to anyone else who comes across this type of question. Plans also sometimes change.

Go online and google 'luggage storage Edinburgh'. Numerous app based sites will come up such as Bounce, Stasher, Luggage Hero and others. Trial one of them by typing in a street, or general area which suits you and several luggage storage locations that have signed up with the site will show up on a map.. They will be small businesses such as a retail outlet or office that will store your luggage for a few pounds a day. You can book and pay for your required number of days/hours in advance any time up to the day you drop your luggage.
I have used one with great success in London.for half a day.. very easy and cheap.

FWIW, I don't mind a misspelling or two; what was bothersome to me was that the OP repeated misspelled this city's name, even after being gently corrected several times. The OP has since apologized for that on a different thread.
