Train from Paris Nord to Brussels MIDI
Hi all, I am traveling on Monday from Paris Nord to Brussels MIDI via train Thalys.
May I ask if anyone knows if there are stops in between or is this a direct train?
Just needed to know in case there are stops in between and I get off the wrong station.
Also, how far away is Brussls MIDI from the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel?

I don't know where your hotel is, but make sure to check to see if it's closer to Brussels Central station. If yes, you can take any train from Midi to Central for free (included in your Thalys ticket). There's usually a train leaving every few minutes and the ride is 5 mins.

I checked the website of MIVB/STIB, the public transport company of Brussels.
For public transport from the South Station (gare midi) to Rue Paul Spaak:
take Tramway route 81 direction MONTGOMERY and get off at stop BAILLI, street AVENUE LOUISE (BRUXELLES) near street RUE DU BAILLI. Turn right on RUE LESBROUSSART and walk to RUE PAUL SPAAK, it is the next street.
Turn left and walk to 15 RUE PAUL SPAAK, it is on the left (+/- 4 min.).
You can also take a taxi at the station.

I would take a taxi, it's a fairly short trip. However, were I to go by mass transit, I wouldn't take the 81 tram, it's often very crowded and it's a jerky ride.
I would instead take a metro up to Louise and transfer to the 93/94 trams running up the Ave Louise to the Bailli stop mentioned above (look for the Irish pub on the corner) and then follow the instructions as given above to the hotel. FYI, if you have a heavy suitcase and don't want to bump up the flight of steps to the trams from the main level of the Louise stop (you can take an escalator from the metro platform up to the main level), take an escalator from the main level up to Ave de la Toison d'Or and cross over at street level.

I've only been offered taxi bookings from first class, not the bar car, although they may book them there. However, in general the Thalys fixed rate is likely to be higher than the meter rate for a journey as short as from Midi to the Four Points.
The bar usually has single journey (which is actually good for an hour's worth of travel including transfers) tickets for the metro/tram system, but if you're going to tour around the city by mass transit, better to buy a multi-ride or day pass when you arrive.
