Too many choices in Brugge-help

Trying to decide between the DePauw, the Fevery, and the Jacobs. Obviously trying to spend less on a hotel-(more for food and beer), would like to be close to Memling and Groeninge museums, or is everything within walking distance? Any info appreciated. (Thanks to all of you who helped develope the itinary from previous post. We are now doing two nights in Brugge, one in Gent, two in Brussels, and one in Antwerpe, and feeling that it won't be long enough).Thanks.
Jane

Sorry but there is ONLY ONE hotel to use as far as I am concerned and that is the Hotel Prinsenhof. Puts the rest to shame...a wonderful, excellent, fabulous hotel. If you do not stay there you will regret it forever and ever.

I liked everything about the Prinsenhof, but let me list them in nor particular order:

wondeful rooms with immense and immaculate bathrooms
great location to center of town but on
very quiet street
wondeful and friendly family (young couple) that own and run the hotel
excellent breakfast service
private and secure parking for car if you are driving
extremely friendly and helpful staff
clean, spotlessly clean everywhere in hotel

one of the best I have ever stayed in and I have been all over Europre and stayed in everything from lowly pensions to 5 star hotels, and this one has to be at the very top. Can not say enough good things about this hotel. By the way, I have no financial interest in the hotel nor am I personal friend of owners. Just a traveler who likes to share good finds with others.

Jane,

Was there recently. We went for the cheaper hotel-more money to spend on other things option as well. Stayed at Hotel Ensor (www.ensorhotel.be). Very nice, very near the 't Zand and a little canal. Double for EUR65.

The chocolates are fantastic!
