I'll be travelling to London in October and have booked a room at The Sumner Hotel near Marble Arch. I've stayed mostly in the South Kensington area before but thought I'd try a different spot. I'll be travelling alone and would appreciate some feedback from anyone who has stayed in this hotel.

If you've always stayed in South Ken, you might have been familiar with 5 Sumner Place hotel.... which we enjoyed several times. The house was sold and the hotel moved to the Marble Arch location. If they have maintained the quality that they had in their previous establishment , you have no worries!

I also stayed at 5 Sumner Place Hotel in South Kensington.

Like Jody's comment, if they have maintained the same quality at the new location you will be pleased with your choice.

It was a very cozy, homey hotel well maintained, with friendly helpful staff.
