I have heard both good and bad about the thistle bloomsbury. Anyone stayed there recently?

My husband and I are thinking about staying there as well. A co-worker stayed there last April (standard room -77GBP/night) and says that the room was small but clean, wonderful buffet breakfast, lovely lobby.

We are torn between this and the Morgan Hotel, where we stayed in the top flat two years ago. Unfortunately, the flats are booked for our dates and we're not sure how big the standard rooms are (95GBP/night). Does anyone have any information on rooms at either the Morgan Hotel or Thistle Bloomsbury?

There's been quite a bit of recent feedback here on this hotel, nearly all positive.

Nice place, I'd stay there again.

Paid $65/night via Priceline (65 dollars, not pounds!).
