Temperature in Amalfi in June - Do we need A/C

We are going to Amalfi coast in June. Does anybody know the temperature on the coast? We really want to know if we will need airconditioning.

Thanks

If you're American, you'll need A/C whereever you go , if you're Australian, the answer is "No".

We have been to the Amalfi coast the past two Junes. June of 2005 it was in the 90's. This past June it was in the high 70's and low 80's. We used the air conditioning every day.

Hi Ar,

Your safest bet is to have AC.

Will your room have cross ventilation and seabreezees?

Will your room have fans?

Will you be upset if your room is 80F and humid until 02:00?

I would not risk not having A/C in June on the Amalfi Coast.

See, people acually differ in the preception of reality. While 80F as it is today is considered a nice (not really warm) summer day where I live, others think of if as "unbearably hot". Anyway I'll be off to the beergarden with my buddies in half an hour. Cheers!

The weather in June has varied over the last few years and this June there was quite a lot of rain and it was never really unbearable, well not to me anyway but I suppose it depends on what you are used to

It depends on how well you do with heat and humidity, how hot it is next year - it varies - and where your hotel/room is situated (will you have breezes and cross ventilation - or be on a courtyard in a hollow.

To me, the first factor is the most important. I would never go without AC - but many places don;t have it.
