Suggestions for Rome Hotels
Hello
I would be most grateful if anyone has suggestions for hotels in Rome,we've been to Hotel Bolivar before, but this year its out of our budget,we need a triple room, and I'm finding it hard to get one. We dont need luxury, but clean and quiet are most important. Budget is €150 per room per night max. Many thanks in advance

Hi
My wife and I stayed at Bettoja Hotel Nord near Termini last year and we were quite happy with that. The area hasn't got the best reputation but we didn't have any problems. I have posted a trip report with some picture on my homepage http://gardkarlsen.com/rome_italy.htm . Here you will also find a review of the hotel as we saw it. Hope it helps

I really enjoyed the Hotel In Parione, a block or so from the Campo dei Fiori. Nothing special to look at from the outside but I think that's pretty common in Rome. The rooms are recently renovated; a little on the small side but very nice. Prices range from 80 euro in the low season to around 150 euro in the high season, I think. You email them for a quote. Their website is http://www.inparione.com
We'll be back in Rome over New Years; maybe I'll find a new gem! We're staying at a small studio apartment/B&B Called Pettinari Village, also near campo dei Fiori but a little closer to the river.

As usual I recommend Hotel Panda, near the Spanish Steps. If you do a search for it on here, you'll probably find my comments on it. Loved it. Stayed there with a group of 4 others. Clean, quiet, nice location.
