ssssh!..... birthday surprise!

Hi,

I'm planning to bring my girlfriend to the south of France for 3 nights for her "??" birthday in October!! I was taking her last year but brought her to Venice instead so this year is a must. My question is, where, in your opinion, would be the nicest place to bring her? I was thinking of somewhere like Villefranche or Beaulieu but would we have more options in Nice ie restaurants? I'm just worried that off season most places in the smaller towns will be closed. Although she prefers smaller laid back towns as opposed to big bustling cities. I'm doing it on a budget-ish so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi J,

>I was taking her last year but brought her to Venice instead ...<

Lucky girl.

How about, Fly into Toulouse 1 night, Rent a car, visit Albi 1 day, visit Carcassone, return to Toulouse, fly home.

Truffles will be in season.

Sure, your title is cute, but it's not attracting responses. I suggest you repost with a more meaningful title like, "Want to surprise my girlfriend with a trip to Southern France. Would appreciate suggestions of where to go."
