Specific Ireland air-train questions....advice please

Does anyone know if there is a direct bus/train from the airport to the train station in Dublin? I'll be flying from London to Dublin and want to spend the day seeing some sites but then catch the last train to Galway. I am hoping there are lockers there that I can store my luggage? Also, do they have the hop on/off buses from the train station? I appreciate any help you can provide.

<<< Dublin Bus offers many routes throughout Dublin, including an AirLink express bus to Heuston and Connolly Rail Stations. >>>

giggles, there are two train stations in Dublin, make sure you find the right one for Galway.

giggles,
you should be able to pick up an airlink bus at the airport and head to Heuston Station if you are going to Galway.
There should be a left luggage at the station where you can drop your bag and then jump on the red hop on/off city sightseeing tour from there to get around. It is 15E for a 24 hour ticket and you can end your day at Heuston Station, just keep an eye on the clock as depending on the season the bus stops running at either 16:30 or 17:30.

Here is the link for the hop on/off bus. There is also a click link there for a map of all of their stops- there is one right by Heuston.

Have fun-
Dawn
ps: we did this from Galway to Dublin and the left luggage at the Galway station was easy, convenient and at the time- 5E a bag, I assume it would be about the same in Dublin.
(FYI: 28E one way on the train and 7E for the airlink bus (Oct 05) hope this helps!)
