Spain hotels

I am going to Barcelona for the first time. I have narrowed the hotels to the following 3:
-Gran Duc
-Hotel Continental
-Palacio San Martin

good location and comfort are the priority. Or anything in the 100E range.

I am new at this so be gentle

100€/night is possible at the Banys Orientals, Axel, chic&basic Born, Colors, Hostal Gat Raval and a few others.

The Hotel Gran Duc is only available at under 100€/night on the weekends. I'm not familiar with the other two hotels.

Thanks, Robert

I do have a reservation which can be cancelled for the Gran Ducat - do you know anything about it? I wanted Banys but they were booked. I don't know anything about Axel or Colors, but will take a look.

Travginny

Is there a message there? It only says ttt.

I haven't checked out the hotel myself. I've only waked by, but it is a 3-star, just off Plaza Catalunya, so the location isn't bad. It's only a few minutes walk to Las Ramblas and close to El Corte Ingles if you want to go shopping.

The ttt is jus a way to bring your question to the top so it doesn't get lost in the traffic.

Thanks again, Robert. If I don't hear anything better, I will probably leave my reservation as is, but I would love to hear from someone who has actually stayed there.

Don't know about Gran Duc or Palacio San Martin, but we stayed at Continental and wouldn't stay there again.
