Does anyone know of a good, comprehensive hotel site for Spain? I used www.venere.com to plan a trip to Italy and it was fantastic!! Is there anything like that out there for Spain? Thanks!

Hi Sandy I wish to recommend solmelia.com this site covers only the Melia chain and associates which is huge in Spain. Some of the hotels are big hotels, but many are boutique hotels. In this site solmelia they offer their best offers, often week end rates including very nice breakfasts buffets. We tried it and stayed in a lovely boutique in BUrgos for a great rate.
Nothing wrong either with their big hotels they are fine too.

Definitely visit http://www.parador.es/english/. If you like Paradors and they are near where you are going, fairly inexpensive to have a unique stay. Or, so I think
