Hotels in Extremadura, Spain

I had planned to stay a the Parador in Caceres, but it is full I have sent note to other Paradors in the area and have yet to hear back. I thought I had better check out other options, just in case.

I have checked this site and others, but there appears to be little information.

I am looking for a 3-4 star hotel for under Euros 200 per night, although I would pay more for something exceptional. I would love to stay in either Caceres or Trujilo, as they would make the best bases for what I want to see.

Best regards ? Ger

Ger,
Have you considered the Melia Caceres, a "boutique" Melia, as car mentioned in an early post? Try it for availability.

Just in case,
Meliá has another boutique hotel in Trujillo.

We stayed at the Parador in Trujillo. It has recently been redone and is very nice. You can call Marketing Ahead in NY @800-223-1356 (from the US) and they can tell you right away what's avaiable and make reservations for you.
