Ellie, I visited Rouen in Oct. 1999. I don't recall where we ate, but there are numerous cafes, restaurants and patisseries. There's even a McDonald's there (we did NOT eat there). We didn't stay overnight, so I can't help you in that area. I hope you enjoy Rouen as much as I did - I found it to be a fascinating old town. We had originally planned to stay only a couple of hours, but ended up being there most of a day. Have a great trip!

It's nice to know that there's a MacDonald's in Rouen, but here are a couple of places you might actually want to eat:<BR><BR>La Toque d'Or, 11,place du Vieux Marché<BR><BR>Aux Temps des Cerises, 4-6, rue des Basnages<BR><BR>Le P'tit Bec, 182, rue Eau-de-Robec
