Bjorn, I'm topping in the hope that you will be able to provide more details about your Rome apartment. The Campo Dei Fiori website lists a number of different apartments & I'd like to know which one you rented.

Has anyone ever stayed in any of the hostels (dorms). My daughter wants to try one of these, because it is cheap. She is young & should have been born in the 70's and thinks it will be an adventure. I am not so sure.

You can get a private room at the Beehive Hostel, which has very good reviews, but it may be booked up already.
