Probably not.
We stayed at Hotel Giardino. You will need two rooms there, though, I'd reckon'. It was inexpensive for Rome (150 Euros/night) and very centrally located. We walked everywhere except to Vatican City (taxi was only E7 from Hotel to VC). Note: 2 flights stairs and no lift. Colosseum is 15 mts, Forum is 5 mts., Trevi fountain 10-15 mts.
You can still do a search here for "rome hotels" and find hundreds of recommendations.
Good luck!
