Review/opinions on my newbie plan

Would appreciate anyone's thoughts. I'm 24 and it'll be my first time to europe, gonna do the hostel thing. Im not very interested in spending alot of time in london or amsterdam...im thinkin 6 days in paris might be a bit much compared to everything else...

Day 1: Arrive in london at 11 am
Day 3: Attend Chelsea/Fulham
Day 4: overnight ferry to Netherlands/Amsterdam
Day 6: train to Brussels
Day 7: Fly from Brussels to Barcelona
Day 12: Fly from Barcelona to Paris
Day 18: Fly from Paris to Milan
Day 20-24: Geneva/Cote D'azur by rail
Day 25: pm train to Rome
Day: 28: champions league final in rome
Day 30: train to Florence
Day 32: train to Venice
Day 33: pm train to Milan
Day 35: Fly from milan back home

I'm wondering about day 18. Why go to Milan? You are going to fly home from there anyway - I have never been to see the city, only bypassed it on my way to the Italian & French Riviera many years ago. I think it's an industrial city - and of course a fashion capital but I think that's all???

cause its a cheap flight from paris that gets me to italy (as opposed to rail)... i suppose i couldve just gone rail and merged the cote d'azur and paris...good point ill consider it

I think it sounds a bit too busy, and I'd try for at least two nights in Venice. I would suggest you draw your route on a map of Europe, and try to remove some of the zig zags and back tracks.

You should check out ferry schedules (Barcelona-Genova is one you should know about.

I think I would go from Brussels to Paris. From Paris you could check out the cost of fast train to Marseilles, then see the Cote D'Azur to Genova, then take the ferry to Barcelona. Fly to Rome from there.

Like wise consider going from Paris to Venice to Rome to Firenze to Milan to leave.

I'm just offering up other options to see if they work for you.
