Reasonable/moderate pricing in Milan and Florence

We will be in Italy Sept 2019. Itinerary is all set, but thinking about changing hotels in Milan and Florence. In Milan we were thinking about Hotel Manin, and in Florence, hotel Rivoli. Both are very nice, but a bit pricy. Any suggestions most welcome! Thanks!

"Reasonable, moderate, and a bit pricy" are very relative terms, so we don't know how many euros you want to spend per night, which would be helpful

That said, we stayed here last December for a week and had one of the loveliest vacations we've had in Europe. We fell in love with Milan and thought this was a bargain for what it offered:

I'm not alone here in recommending Tourist House Ghiberti in Florence. https://www.touristhouseghiberti.com/en

We enjoyed the large room, great bed, good reading lights, computer in the room and great location. This was definitely under 100 Euro per night, with breakfast. There were also some sort of spa facilities but we didn't look at them.

Thanks for the responses. I’d like to stay under 125 euros.

In Florence, check the Casci Hotel. We stayed there years ago and have nothing but good to say, and people still highly recommend it on the forums. It is within your budget as well.
