Private transfer Pisa Airport to Florence - any recommendations?
Our flight arrives at a time which would mean up to 2 hours wait for train or bus to Florence, so we are considering forking out for a private transfer, to maximise our precious time in the city. Has anybody got a recommendation for a firm which does the job well but which is not in arm and leg territory costwise?

TerraVision does the job cheapest

Private Xfer will cost hundreds so stick with one of those

Not unless you are arriving very late at night. There are 2-3 trains per hour all day until about 10pm.
The Pisa airport lists one transfer company.

If you are looking at the train schedules from the airport to Florence, it does appear that there is only a train about every two hours. However that is a direct route to Florence with no train change anywhere.
There are at least two or more trains every hour from the airport to Pisa Centrale. Once at Pisa Centrale, there are 2-3 trains every hour to Florence.
So you should be ble to take the train without waiting a significant amount of time by getting to Pisa Central and taking a regional train from there.

Pisa airport and Pisa Centrale are only 5 minutes apart by train (1.10€). Pisa Centrale/Florence will be 5.80€ on most trains. There are a few trains that will offer 1st class for 8.70€, but many have no class distinction.

Thanks for the feedback.
Awaiting price quotes from the limo services suggested.
Travel by train needs to be looked at again, obviously. Any need to book tickets for the journey online?
