Priceline comes thru again!
Just last night, 15 days out, I got my son a JFK-MAD ticket for $633 plus tax on priceline. One stop in Milan on Alitalia. He needed to be there on May 23 to begin his study abroad. I had waited because I'm a flight attendant and thought he'd be able to travel on his flight passes but the flights were filling up and since he can't be flexible about his arrival I decided to purchase. The lowest fares on Orbitz/Expedia/Hotwire were in the $880 range.

My tickets are purchased, but wondering where you got that BA rate? I saw that exact itinerary on Orbitz/Hotwire at $880 prior to bidding on priceline.
Since I'm a flight attendant we usually get the best deal of all, FREE, but my son had to be in Madrid on a specific date to meet his study group so I had no flexibility in sending him.

I found this on www.aa.com, but I'm sure www.ba.com may have the same deal.
I didn't want to make anybody feel bad, but just wanted to make a point about Priceline. I do like the company for their hotel deals. I've been lucky to get some fantastic deals for some great hotels, but when I look at the fares people pay for airline tickets, I can't believe it. I've been able to beat Priceline almost every time.
I hope your son has a fantastic stay in Spain.
