Prague accommodation advice needed in June

Hi Fodorites,

I’m into a midst of working other places and had not started yet on Prague..so would like to get some recommendations from kind folks in this forum on accommodation for 3 nights in late June

- budget max 150 euros for a triple room
- easy central location …short walk to public transportation ,.. we will take the train in from Berlin and depart by bus to Nuremberg..
- hotel surrounding is unique …old world charm
- can tolerate noise in surrounding… but quiet location also well appreciated
- Do we need to book in advance?

Overall we are quite flexible,.. and can adjust to the above limitations…

will do some search on the above accommodation soon…so just wanna hear what you folks had experienced/suggested..

Thanks in advance for your anticipation..

is your budget 150 euros per night?

have a look at this Place it is right opposite the main train station and easily walkable to most of the sites,I stayed there last May and will be staying there in May this year, quite a modern interior in an older building.
BTW the Nurenbergh Bus leaves from outside the Main Train Station (Hlavni).
another place I satyed in recently was this place.

more of an apartment hotel but gives breakfasts as well,it was pretty cheap and an easy walk to Namesti Miru Metro station, that gets you to all parts of the city very quickly.

If your stay is on a Sunday thru Tuesday or Wednesday, you can get a good deal that includes breakfast and taxes. Close to the old town and public transportation. Richard www.pariz.cz For a download of information on the cities you will be visiting. www.inyourpocket.com

I think these would fit your criteria & may just fall within budget depending on your exact dates;

Note: for the 2nd one choose the Archibald at the Charles Bridge, not the Archibald City.

For June - with a modest budget for a triple room I would definitely reserve in advance - as far as possible to perhaps get a deal for early booking.

As previously mentioned ,you could look at www.booking.com/prague Once you key in your dates, you will also be able to check your budget amount. The good thing about this site, it usually does not chearge your CC, only when you arrive at the hotel. Richard
