I doubt this guy speaks a single word of German. However the only thing I heared of Hasselfoof in years is this thread.
Wait, the stupid show with the speaking car is on RTL2... And I think I've got a "Video 2000" tape of this c..p. Now I need to buy a used "Video 2000" system VCR on ebay....

don't forget Dave was the heartthrob intern or doctor on the very popular soap The Young and the Restless - maybe 30 years ago he was a hearthrob.
Actually Baywatch is one of my favorite shows ever - just after Son the Beach! (Seriously)

"yeah..

and Elvis was quite popular over here (in Europe) too.."

Oh my goodness!!! Are you seriously comparing ELVIS PRESLEY to HASSLENOT? Yes, I grew up in Memphis and had all the Elvis sightings ( my dear mum even met him in person as he was giving away a Cadillac at a dealership near our home...he wrote her a check!)...but ELVIS was talent....David is just lucky the Germans find something in him.

I had to watch this movie on a plane (Delta to Atlanta). The enless loop of "americana" was far more interesting. All he understood was "This land is my land..."

It's completely inexplicable. Like the French mania for Jerry Lewis. Or why men like the 3 Stooges. It just is.

Sheila & Caroline, suffice it to say that ignorance is bliss. Both of you should consider yourselves more culturally evolved for this lack of knowledge, honestly. We've exported some **** in our time, but this is the very bottom of the barrel.

And I know if The Hoff reads this or hears about it, he'll not be at all upset, because he's probably sober as a judge, and I'm sure it's been hours or minutes since his last drink.

If I'm not mistaken, Rabbit Head is originally from Sandy Springs, a suburb of Atlanta.

Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.

My hubbie and I were just talking about Hasselhoo and he informed me that Mr. Hasselhoff is also Mr. BigBucks. Apparently he is one of the wealthiest tv personalities in the world. Dead serious.
Lovejoy, you made my night with that video. Happily, Mr. Hasselhoo has a sense of humor!

For those wanting posters: you can go to www.allposters.com and search for David Hasselhoff. They have four available. Also you can go to
www.perfectpeople.net and they have a huge section on The Hoff. Here is the quote that is listed on the front (be prepared to giggle on this one):

"Beyond its entertainment value, Baywatch has enriched and, in many ways, helped save lives. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to continue with a project which has had such significance for so many."

He is a demi-god, apparently. I mean, he is, after all, listed on Perfect People Dot Net.

Giggle Giggle.
