kr, it would be most helpful if you can just post a link to your posts. You've got lots of posts here. Your apartment's location sounds really good; Piazza Navona would be my choice.

The location of this place is unreal. You walk out the front door make a left and walk 10 yards and the pantheon is right in front of you about 20 yards away. It is right next door to the pantheon hotel, which I only saw the lobby I think the same guy owns that also.

The one on the third floor is nicer it is quieter. It is really perfect for 4 people, one queen and 2 single beds in the bedrooms, than there is a queen or double in the smaller living room. One bathroom in the 3rd floor one, 2 bathrooms in the first floor apartment. I stayed in both.

Plus AC in both

kr -
Which is the "third floor" one - apartment 1 or 2?

Also how about pricing?

I tried to email them to inquire, and got a reject message that the email was invalid....

apartment 1 is the one on the third floor. Keep in mind no elevator wasn't a big deal for me, I actual have stayed in both, the one on the third floor is nicer. I paid 270 euro per night 2 years ago.

wanderer,

Every apartment you've discussed so far is in a good location (except the one on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II itself - anything a block a more north or south of this very busy road is fine). They are all a few minutes walk from each other.

But, if you really want to split hairs - I think Via Giulia is about as charming as it gets...

kr, thanks for posting the link to the apartment. I shall pass on the information to someone I know who may be interested.

re: Your questions about time to go in relation to the apartments' availability. I think I'd book for late September/early October at the Montevecchio place. Only downside there seems to be no views, which means it will probably be very quiet--a fair trade.

But I'd probably still choose the place on via Giulia if they have an opening.

Good luck.

wanderer-
If you are still on here I noticed that there is a new apartment review on slowtrav for Via de Chiavari. Here is the link:
