Passenger Locator Form Fee?

Is there a fee associated with the PLF for Italy? In all my reading thus far I have not seen that anywhere. But the site is asking for a $65 fee. Am I missing something?
I am leaving for Italy on May 17th. Just read it has been lifted. Anybody know what is correct?

I have not heard of a fee associated with the PLF in other countries. Is this a scam site? The PLF is being lifted in many places, I would double check on that.

First I'm not even sure it's still required.

I filled it out last week on the EU website. No charge.

By the 1st May 2022 most of Europe , including Italy had phased out PLFs - there should never have been a charge.

There are plenty of websites out there selling things to people that are free. If the site ends in .com, it is a business and will charge a fee. Some websites that used to charge for Visa applications in Europe have added PLFs for example.

here is one example, only their fee is only about 35 euro.

THis is the official website
