Paris Visite Card

Hello all - I am to be going to Paris next week on business but I do have a question regarding the RER....I turn to you all. I will be staying in Central Paris for three days (Fri-Sun) and need to head back and forth to the Exposition (CDG RER line) a few times a day. Do I buy a three day Paris Visite card or a two day? or is there something better out there?? Thank you!

None of the above.

I don't know how many days you need it, so you'll have to figure that out -- whether it is 2 or 3. But don't buy a PAris Visite, anyway, just buy a daily Mobilis card, it will be cheaper. You only need a zone 4 card for that location, and it's only 9.15 euro a day. The Paris Visite is 17 euro a day for 5 zones, as you can't buy 4 zones. Even if you buy a 2-3 day pass, it will still be cheaper to buy daily Mobilis cards than a Paris Visite.

Christina was a little off on the price of a three-day Paris Visite for zones 1-5. It is E38.10.

However, her recommendation to buy daily Mobilis passes for zones 1-4 is right on: E9.15/day.

I concur with the suggestion that you use Mobilis cards.

And if you're under 26, you can buy a Ticket Jeunes - 4 zones for €6,40 per day for Saturday and Sunday.

Thank you all! How nice to think someone might think I may be under 26!

For what it is worth : the name of the train station you are refering to is 'PARC DES Expositions) (easier to locate (and follow the signs) with inclunding the begining of the name)
