Paris sightseeing by boat

Has anyone used the Seine water taxis for sightseeing? How were they? Any tips?

There have been several threads with some really good info on this. I just pulled one up for you. If you type Seine Cruise into the search box and click on France, you'll find several others.

The Batyobus is highly recommended. Click on the stops:

It seems rather limited to me, considering you would still need to buy a tranport pass (or tickets) to reach anywhere else not by the Seine.

Last May we stayed near Notre Dame. One day we used Batobus as our day-long taxi. It will take you to the Louvre, Eiffel Tower and other sights plus it is a fun way to see the city from the water.
