Paris: Le Grande Cafe
Looking for feedback for people who have been here. What is your favorite dish? Best time to go? Relaxing? Pricey? Not sure if I should just have coffee or stay for dinner.

We had a wonderful late supper there after the Opera. We were glad we made reservations as it became packed around 11 PM.
Many were eating the shellfish platters, but we did steak/frites and steak tartare/frites, both were very good. And Lee's creme brulee was excellent --(are they ever not?)

We have eaten there twice. It is really beautiful, always nice service. It was great for a relaxing lunch in the middle of a busy sightseeing day, but we also went in the evening. I highly recommend the Kir Royale and the Creme Brulee but eveything we had was excellent.

We've been there 3 times and while I don't consider myself a "foodie", I do like delious food and we thought the food was delicious. The decor, as others have said, is wonderful--all stained glass. Check out the ladie's room (if you qualify, or snear a peak if you don't and have some cheek...oh dear, that was bad
). We usually go around 7 to 8ish and it's never been too crowded, but can see where it might be when the opera lets out.
