Paris Hotels for family of four with 2 teens
We will be visiting Paris for 3 days in a few months. Any suggestions for a hotel that might accommodate the 4 of us in one room? Or would we be better to get 2 rooms? Thanks for any help you can give.

I would think with 2 teens, you might want 2 rooms for the bathrooms alone. Moderately priced Paris hotel rooms are normally quite small and 4 to a bath would not be easy. There have, however, been inquiries about quad rooms on this board and you may be able to find some of them using the search function.

I sound like a broken record, but: Hotel du Danube has a quad room with 2 decent size bedrooms and one bath. It is on Rue Jacob so the location is great. Two years ago the price was 210 euros per night. We were happy with it, but I'm sure that with a little research you might find 2 rooms (and 2 baths!)for a comparable price.

I think I sound like a broken record, too, but Hotel de Fleurie has family suites, which consist of one room with a double bed, another with two twins, and one bath. The hotel has an excellent location in St. Germaine, and a lovely staff.

Weadles, do you remember the price of the room at the Fleurie? I think I looked into that hotel having read very good things about it, but it was substantially more money than the Danube. Maybe on our next trip....

Or go here and rent a one-bedroom apartment for 3 nights: www.rentalfrance.com
Lots of lovely areas, more space, some with balcony or terrace, and the use of a kitchen so you can stock up on snacks for those hungry teens! Many on these boards have praised Pascal, who manages these properties. Have fun!

The Hôtel Duquesne-Eiffel has one room that accommodates 4 and at least a couple of chambres-communicantes (two double rooms sharing a common hallway, usually with two bathrooms):

I failed to mention that we expect we will have to pay 200 euros minimum for a room for four. But if we were able to find something for less that was decent we'd be very happy. I appreciate your help! Keep it coming.

Look into the Hotel Palais Bourbon
I haven't stayed there, but know it is good for families, and if you search on it I believe it has been praised here and at www.tripadvisor.com
