paris : hotel HELP
hi, i am looking to visit paris with my wife from 14th feb to 17th feb.
Need suggestions for the following :-
1. we need some recommendation on hotels. our budget is in the range of 100 euros.We are getting married in the end of January and will be visiting Paris on our way to US.
For that time of year, what would be the best location.
2. Any info on the weather, pls?
3. Cud u guys also suggest some good websites thru which i can book online.

do a search on this site for Paris Hotels or apartments. The later may be a nice alternative....(and save some food $s) try www.rentparis.com

I don't know that the time of year matters that much as to where you should stay -- I suppose because it will likely be cold, the more central the better as you won't want long walks. That's where most people prefer to stay as a tourist, anyway, though -- arrondisements 1, 4-8 probably.

Suggest Hotel Valadon in the 7th district. Two blocks off Rue Cher on a very quite street. Newly re-decorated thru-out last year. www.hotelvaladon.com

My wife and I always stay at the Hotel Bonaparte, 61 Rue Bonaparte in the 6th. It is about 115E/dbl with bkfst.
