dln, not even close to the Real Thing, but during a visit to Las Vegas last year, I bought Venetian glass beads at a shop in the Venetian hotel
Also Murano glass hearts in a shop in Soho
So yes!! add to the collection, keep that sweet lil ole head swollen!

Well ladies, it's always a pleasure to talk jewelry. I love shiny bright things! My necklace was designed by Jane Barthelemy. She's a Boston native who lived in Venice, where she sang opera. As I am an opera buff, I was twice as happy to buy her bead jewelry! She calls her collection "Marco Polo Designs" and if you go to Yahoo and type just that, you will come up with several hits & then you can take a look at her pretty things.

Bailey, that's why my 70 year old parents have logged in more airline miles than you can shake a stick at. They know there's not enough time in the world, so even on trips home from Italy (their fav destination) my mother is feverishly planning the next trip! She and my father are always one step ahead in that department. They make ME tired! Ciao, Deirdre

OOOPS, I read breads rather than beads. It was late at night and I had just gotten off the phone after 3 hours with a a Dell Computer "technician" in India. I was blurry eyed. (By the way, after 2 weeks, my computer still isn't fixed)
