Help!!...a friend just returned from Paris...with bags of beads. She can't remember the exact area...she thinks it was somewhere in the Marais...a street with many shops selling beads. Any ideas?? Next time I'm gonna tape a pen to her wrist..........

They have fabulous bread shops all over Paris.

Yes, Bailey, there are bead shops in the Marais. Look for them in Rue du Temple, and surroundings, and you shall find them.

While in Paris in May I saw a wonderful bead shop in the Marias area but they were not open at the time. I sure wish I could remember the address but it was not far from Place des Vosges maybe on Rue de Turenne. Good luck

Since beads of all kinds are a big part of my life, I would think that there might be quite a market for those tiny little Poilane baguettes and even some small croissant earrings!

I should think that the holes should be made prior to baking in order not to break that crisp, crunchy crust.

Well, you know the colors for the fall are quite rich so I think Poilane should add plenty of food coloring and chocolate to those tiny little baked goods. Imagine, when you feel hungry, just nibble your necklace~

Bailey and Scarlett, you two are a stitch! Just for the two of you, I will keep my eyes peeled for Italian bead treasures. The necklace I mentioned above is made of handblown Venetian glass beads, mostly gold and green, and I get so many compliments on it that it makes my head swell! I will need to add to my collection, don't you think, with results like that?
