Paris

I recently saw a report that Paris is no longer within the top 50 U.S. sites visited by Americans. Way to go. France is not an ally.

I am pretty sure that Paris is not in the U.S. and wouldn't qualify to be included in a list of the top 50 U.S. sites.

Paris, Texas did use to be quite the destination & vacation spot. Paris, France is, however, #1 on my list & that's the only one that really matters too me. Good catch bj.

This just in...Moscow, ID; Berlin and Copenhagen, NY; Rome and Athens, GA; Dublin, CA; Madrid, IA; and my personal favorite Vienna, IL have also mysteriously disappeared from the top 50 list. Where is everyone going?

How about Rome, Missouri? I used to fish there every summer when I was a kid. Let's be nice, people. world2travel just didn't proof his/her question carefully before posting it.

All in good fun. After seeing some of the invectives hurled on various posts the past couple of weeks, it's nice to having something a little more good-natured to banty about. And PJK, sorry about overlooking Rome, Missouri. As a true Missourian, you showed me. Just in case I shunned any other Romans, I'm raising a toast to all of you in Rome, Illinois,; Rome, Indiana; Rome, Iowa; Rome, Mississippi; Rome, New York; Rome, Ohio, Rome, Oregon; Rome, Pennsylvania; and Rome City, Indiana. You're indeed friends and countrymen.

You don't need to go to Paris. You can visit Versailles in Missouri! It's pronounced Ver-sales, of course.
