ONE DAY TO SPEND IN FRANCE

We will have an extra day between Paris and Nice and can't figure out if we should use the extra day and stay in Paris or head south(on our rail tickets) and stop somewhere along the way for a day and night - any suggestions? It is my 30 yr. old daughter and I and we will have only 2 days in Paris, should we just stay out? What say ye, all world travelers?
thanks for your time and help

If you have only two days in Paris, I think you'll want the extra day IN Paris. Two days is an incredibly short stay in a city like Paris. JMHO Take it for what it's worth.

Stay in Paris. If you're like most Paris visitors you'll wish for even more time.

Another vote for Paris. You will get much more out of a day that you don't spend traveling for a one night stay, and there is plenty to occupy you in Paris. Two days is a short time there.

Heck - not only would I stay the extra day in Paris - I'd take a day or two from Nice and add those to Paris too.

2 days is NOTHING for Paris. 3 days is at least a tiny bit better . . . . .

I've been to Paris 5 times and feel like I've still only scratched the surface of this world class city.

I agree with all the others....stay in Paris.

Looking forward to my 72nd trip there and still haven't gotten enough of it.
